How It Works
We are here to answer your questions and inquiries about the 'Plant a Tree and Teach Me' campaign. Contact us using the form below, and we will get back to you as soon as possible!
Process Steps
Donations
The process begins with receiving donations from individuals or institutions. Donors can sponsor a tree or a group of trees for a specified amount.

Planting
Saplings and seeds are cultivated in the research nursery located between Azaz and Afrin. The nursery includes full infrastructure such as greenhouses and clay houses to provide optimal conditions for saplings' growth. After growth, the saplings are planted in specific locations in northern Syria according to a scientific study of the local environment.

Tree Care
After planting, trees receive continuous care, including irrigation, organic fertilization, and protection from animals and uncontrolled grazing. The project relies on organic farming using vermicompost fertilizer produced in the nursery.

Sustainability and Follow-up
The project ensures tree care for at least five years to guarantee sustainability and productivity, with regular follow-ups by agricultural teams and volunteers.

Donation Process
Select a Tree
Donors can visit the website and select the type of trees they want to sponsor (e.g., olive, grape, almond). The cost of planting and caring for a tree for five years is $25.
Registration and Tracking
After donating, the donor receives a unique QR code for each tree donated. This code allows tracking the tree's growth and geographical location via GPS.
Receive Updates
Donors receive periodic reports, including photos and updates about their trees' progress, as well as information on how they contribute to supporting education and caring for orphans.
Tree Tracking
The project relies on an advanced tracking system using GPS.

- After planting the tree, an identification board with a QR code is attached to each tree.
- Donors can scan the code to get detailed information about the tree’s location and planting date.
- Donors receive annual updates including photos of the tree, a report on its growth and productivity, and how it contributes to supporting education for orphaned children.
Types of Trees
The project focuses on planting various types of fruit and forest trees that have significant environmental and economic benefits, including
Project Stages

Production Environmental Nursery
The nursery is equipped with an area of 65 dunams, provided with necessary facilities such as wells and production sections for forest and food trees aimed at producing healthy seedlings.

Team and Partner Mobilization
The project includes a specialized team in agriculture and management, along with a group of partner agricultural and developmental institutions like Medad Foundation.

Environmental Analysis
Study of local and international Syrian agricultural resources to determine the best species for planting, focusing on products with multiple environmental and economic sustainability benefits.

Seedling Security and Agriculture Preparation
Researching seedling sources and preparing suitable land for planting, ensuring appropriate conditions to obtain clean, green seedlings that achieve the required environmental impact.

Care and Continuity
Continuous care over five years to ensure the continuity of the project and monitor the planted fields to maintain the success of the project.

Investment
Raising environmental and economic awareness among the local public, and creating economic resources based on agricultural products to improve living standards.
